Zakat obligations for the fund are handled as follows:

The fund, with the assistance of the appointed auditor of the fund, will be responsible of calculating the zakat per share. This is payable as such only by Saudi based companies who own units in the fund and at their discretion.

For individual unit holders who want to deduct his investment from his own zakat base, they should pay zakat on their share of zakat base calculated by the fund.

Stake itself does not pay zakat on behalf of its investors. Investors should consult with their tax or zakat advisors for further guidance.
